BDEA Cited as Model in Opening of New Horace Mann Charter School

The Salem Gazzette reported the approval of a new Horace Mann Charter School in Salem, MA that is opening to address a population of students who are at risk for dropping out.

The need for such connection is based on the example of Boston Day and Evening Academy, a Roxbury charter school whose model includes “wraparound services” — community-based services such as physical and mental health, behavioral support and parental coaching."
