"Walking With Memories" project completed

With the generous support of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, BDEA students completed a sculpture project under the leadership of artist-in-residence Nora Valdez.

Students worked on a writing component in their humanities class on memory and identity, and participated in stone-carving workshops to complete the project, which has been installed in BDEA's newest organic garden. With funding from the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, BDEA purchased a larger statue to complete the installation.
