Marcy Ostberg

Marcy joined BDEA in 2007. Previously she coached Lacrosse at Ampleforth College in the United Kingdom, and at Franklin Pierce College. Marcy's Science classes are experiential. She is currently working with the Museum of Science to give students an opportunity to experience Science from within the Museum setting. This partnership leads to summer internships and positions for students. As a result of a grant from Boston Fund for Teachers, Marcy traveled to Ecuado during the summer of 2010, where she spent time learning Spanish, talking to researchers in the rainforest, and helping with conservation efforst on the Galapagos Islands. Marcy holds a B.S. in Kenisiology from Gordon College and an M.Ed. from Franklin Pierce University.
