Faruq Hassan

Faruq is a 2005 graduate of Boston Day and Evening Academy. He now works as the Enrichment Coordinator, where he oversees enrichment classes, plans for field trips to see plays and concerts, and brings in artists, musicians, and instructors to give master classes.  Faruq began studying filmmaking at the Institute of Contemporary Arts and has since produced films for BDEA, the University of Massachusetts, and other non-profit organizations. During the spring of 2007, he co-taught the documentary film component to the BDEA Capstone Project class. A world traveler, Faruq spent 4 1/2 months on a spiritual journey through Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh in early 2006. Throughout the years, Faruq has studied and designed clothing.
