Cheryl Morgan
Cheryl joined BDEA’s Postgraduate Planning office in the summer of 2009, where she coordinates BDEA’s Transition Year Program, providing support to graduates of BDEA who are in their first years of college and building partnerships with higher learning institutions to better support student success in college. This is not her first time as a part of the BDEA community, however. From 2002 to 2005 she served as the Registrar and Operations Assistant, as well as a long-term Humanities Instructor Substitute for the school, then called Boston Evening Academy. Previous to joining BDEA, Cheryl taught English Language Arts and English as a Second Language (ESL) at Orchard Gardens K-8 Pilot School. She also taught at ESL History and ESL Science at Randolph High School. Cheryl holds a B.A. in Writing with a minor in Spanish from Houghton College, an M.A. in Secondary English Education from New York University, and completed graduate coursework in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at Boston University.
