Brian Gonsalves
Brian joined BDEA as the Dean of Student Support in 2008. In this newly created position, Brian oversees and guides both the Day and Evening Student Support teams, runs professional development, and provides counseling to students. Brian works to provide support services to students, parents, and teachers, by helping students to make good decisions and be positive members of the BDEA community, and by helping families and teachers to give caring and committed support. Brian was previously the Coordinator of Student Support Services at Fenway High School and has worked at Harvard University School of Education as a consultant for diversity in education. He is currently a faculty advisor at the Boston College School of Social Work, where he oversees and supports graduate students with their academics and field placements. Brian holds a B.A. in Communications from Bridgewater State College and an M.S.W. with a concentration in Child Welfare from Boston College. Brian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
