Brian Connor

Brian began working at BDEA in 2007 after completing The Boston Teacher Residency.  For his first 3 years he taught Math and was one of the founding teachers of our Seminar program.  On top of his teaching duties, Brian has worked as our Technology Support Teacher and helped move BDEA toward our goal of integrating computer instruction into our general practice.  In 2010, he was hired to help construct and pilot BDEA’s Personalized Online Learning Program (POLL) and consult with our various software vendors in order to streamline the way we use our data systems.  Before coming to BDEA, Brian managed a youth aquatics program at a local YMCA and worked as a recording engineer.  He holds an BA in Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music and an M.Ed from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Brian performs in a local, original rock band.
