Alison Hramiec

Bio: 

Alison is the Director of Instruction and Curriculum at BDEA. Previously she was a faculty member in the Science Department of BDEA for 4 years, and was one of the founding teachers of the Day Program. During the 2007-2008 school year, she earned her administrator’s credential through the Principal Residency Network, with Meg Maccini, then Head of School, as her mentor. Before joining the BDEA Faculty, Ms. Hramiec was a teacher in both the Chicago Public Schools and in South Boston. She is a member of the Pilot School Teacher Network with the Center of Collaborative Education, and Boston Public Schools’ Small School’s Teachers Advisory Board. Alison holds a B.S. in Biology from Kalamazoo College and an M.Ed. from Depaul University. She also has advanced coursework in Special Education and School Leadership from Northeastern University.
