Aaron Stone

Aaron joined the Science Department in August 2009. Previously he was a teacher and advisor at the Community Charter School of Cambridge, where he developed biology curricula for 8th grade students, co-designed a roundtable portfolio-based assessment process, and co-led an after school Science program. Aaron’s instruction philosophy is built on forming positive relationships with students and giving them the tools to experience Science hands-on, through projects and experiments. Aaron served in the United States Marine Core Reserve for 6 years, with a tour of active duty at Camp Lejeune, NC, and in Okinawa, Japan. Aaron holds a B.S. in General Biology and an M.Ed. both from the University of New Hampshire.
