Community Partners

BDEA offers holistic, comprehensive education that blends rigorous academics with strong wrap-around support and enrichment opportunities including in-house support and referrals to outside resources which provide counseling, housing, medical, childcare, and legal services to help students overcome barriers that stand in the way of their success as students and as individuals. Enrichment opportunities include internships, art classes, and job shadows that help students nurture their creativity and envision their futures.

BDEA also has strong partnerships with institutions of higher learning, with the shared goal of continuing student success after they earn their high school diploma. BDEA's Student Support Team, Leadership Team, Postgraduate Planning staff, and faculty work closely with community partners to ensure that each student is given the necesary resources to progress.
